Child Care Ministries (CCM) offer holistic ministry and care to devastated communities filled with the uneasiness of wars, hostile nomadic tribe invasions, HIV/AIDS, disease and poverty. This includes counselling, education and training. There are around 90 children in the project with around 40 at the stage of completing their school education and preparing to take up college places and apprenticeships. A few are going to university, but it is felt that more practical training will maximize the potential for employment.
The leaders believe that the education programme, linked with the separate loan programme, has brought greater stability to the area as well as a sense of hope.
